On Shore Decor Nautical Decor

WELCOME!

Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Al Nord. My friends call me BIG AL. I’ve just retired after 36 years in the fire service. Without a doubt, the best job in the world!!

So now on to my next “job”. Folks tell me I have a talent for making cool stuff out of local material. Yeah I know you can run down to the local everything store and find some nice looking stuff, but you won’t find anything like MY stuff. I use materials that come from the coastal Carolina’s. Sure you can buy a piece of wood that says “Welcome to The Beach” on it, but I put “Welcome to the Beach” on a rustic piece of drift wood that comes “From the Beach”. The natural materials found in the local creeks, rivers, and forests can rival anything you can find in a store. Local old docks, old fishing gear, old boats  are at the core of where Nautical Décor comes from right? Doesn’t old, native, cool stuff, really show off your coastal attitude??
